What we install

Every job starts with an on-site visit, so the plan fits your yard, your budget and how you use the space.

Xeriscape front yards

Rock, boulders and desert plants laid out as one design.

Rock beds & borders

Crisp beds around turf, patios and foundations.

Decomposed granite paths

Compacted DG walkways and seating areas.

River rock & dry creeks

Smooth stone channels that look natural and move storm water.

Boulders & accents

Placed feature boulders that anchor the design.

Side-yard rock

Clean, weed-free side yards and utility areas.

How we build it

  1. Clear & grade

We remove weeds, grass and debris, then shape the ground so water drains correctly.

  2. Weed barrier

Commercial-grade landscape fabric is laid and pinned, with overlapping seams.

  3. Edging

Steel, concrete or bender-board edging keeps each rock type in its place.

  4. Rock & plants

Rock is spread to depth, boulders set, and plants and drip added if you want them.

Common questions

Will weeds grow through gravel?

Weed barrier and proper rock depth stop most weeds. A few may blow in and root on top over time; they pull out easily.

How much rock will my yard need?

It depends on area, depth and rock size. We measure on site and include exact quantities in your quote.

Can you add plants and drip irrigation?

Yes. We can plant drought-tolerant shrubs, grasses and agave and run drip to each one.

Does decorative rock get hot in summer?

Dark rock holds more heat than light rock. We can suggest colors and plantings that keep areas near the house cooler.
